  • A commemoration of a relationship formed by our 30-year Long-Term Partnering Agreement
  • Significant projects include Kormoran Class MCMVs and the Arrowhead 140 ‘Miecznik’ frigate programme
  • The 30-year Long-Term Partnering Agreement (LTPA) was signed in 2023

December 05, 2024 — Burnaby — OSI Maritime Systems (OSI) was pleased to host Marcin Ryngwelski, the newly appointed CEO of PGZ Stocznia Wojenna (PGZ SW), along with his technical team, at OSI’s headquarters in Burnaby. The visit aimed to review ongoing collaborative projects, including the Kormoran Class Mine Countermeasure Vessels (MCMVs) and the Arrowhead 140 ‘Miecznik’ frigate program, while strengthening the partnership established under the 30-year Long-Term Partnering Agreement (LTPA) signed in 2023.

The navy programs deploy OSI’s Integrated Navigation & Tactical System (INTS), the leading Warship Integrated Navigation and Tactical System. INTS features capabilities designed for modern naval operations and is powered by ECPINS, the predominant WECDIS supplied to NATO and Allied navies.

The LTPA between OSI and PGZ SW extends beyond the delivery of advanced navigation systems. It encompasses training PGZ SW personnel in key activities such as installations, set-to-work, configuration, and commissioning. Additionally, OSI is supporting the development of a Navigation Laboratory and Mission System Integration Facility at PGZ SW.

OSI is proud to play a pivotal role in these critical programs, working closely with PGZ SW to deliver cutting-edge capabilities that enhance the operational effectiveness and safety of the Polish Navy.
