OSI Maritime Systems Celebrates Success in Poland at MSPO 2026
From Kormoran to Miecznik: Advancing Polish Naval Capability

KIELCE, Poland – As industry leaders gather at the International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) 2026, OSI Maritime Systems (OSI) is celebrating its growing success in Poland, where the company has become a trusted partner in the modernization of the Polish Navy through advanced navigation technology and long-term industrial cooperation.
Poland has become one of OSI’s most important international markets. Working closely with PGZ Stocznia Wojenna (PGZ SW), OSI has supported several key naval programs while helping strengthen defence and industrial ties between Canada and Poland.
OSI’s success in Poland began with the Kormoran II Mine Countermeasure Vessel Program, where the company supplied its advanced ECPINS WECDIS navigation technology to the Polish Navy. The success of the Kormoran project established a strong foundation of trust and operational performance that led to additional opportunities and a growing relationship with the Polish naval industry.
Building on that success, OSI was selected to provide its Integrated Navigation Bridge System (INBS) for the Polish Navy’s Miecznik Frigate Programme, one of Europe’s largest naval modernization initiatives. Earlier this year, OSI successfully completed the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for Ship Set 1, marking a significant milestone in the delivery of three Arrowhead 140 frigates for the Polish Navy.
OSI has also secured a contract for the Polish Navy’s Ratownik rescue vessel program, expanding the company’s role in supporting Poland’s next generation of naval capabilities.
Central to this success has been OSI’s long-standing partnership with PGZ SW. Through collaboration on program delivery, workforce development, training, and technology transfer initiatives, the two organizations have developed a relationship that extends well beyond supplier and customer.
