Each of these small monitors repeats a single piece of navigation information — such as Position, Heading, RoT, SOG, Depth, or Wind – close to a location on the ship where it is needed, such as on a bridge wing or at the helm. The information comes directly from the DDU, unmediated by ECPINS. Using touchscreen control, the operator can change the display from analog to digital, change units, and change the information selected.
